The most expensive property listed for sale on Lands of America recently was $7 million, while the median price for land, ranches and rural property in Alaska was $707,020. The average price of land listed for sale in Alaska was $904,976. Alaska's epic landscape affords a similarly epic number of hunting opportunities for big game including moose, caribou and even brown bear. Obviously, with 83 percent of land in the state under public stewardship and outdoor recreation opportunities abound here in the Last Frontier.
