Lands of America data lists $214 million in land for sale for sale in the Land of the Midnight Sun. This represents 20,611 acres of land for sale in the state. Of Alaska's 29 counties, Kenai Peninsula Borough had the most rural property and land for sale. Alaska's epic landscape affords a similarly epic number of hunting opportunities for big game including moose, caribou and even brown bear. Obviously, with 83 percent of land in the state under public stewardship, outdoor recreation opportunities abound here in the Last Frontier.
